THEIR DUTY
Two physicians at Kimball Medical Center performed a delicate surgery on a 10-year-old girl from Iraq who had been born with her bladder on the outside of her body. The doctors – who are both officers in the US Army and had served time in Iraq – made arrangements to have the girl brought to Kimball for the reconstructive procedure. We engaged in extensive PR outreach in the days prior to the surgery and invited a local reporter and photographer to attend the surgery to write a first-hand account of the procedure. |
